In March, 2013 we replaced our old MYMOP (Measure Your Medical Outcome) outcome questionnaires with the more comprehensive web based Care Response system. Since then every new patient has had the opportunity to complete an initial assessment form and three further questionnaires; one at 14 days, one at 30 days and the final one at 90 days after their first visit.

It has proved invaluable in helping us to know whether we are achieving what we were expecting and we believe that it has helped us making better clinical decisions to the benefit of the individual patient. In the future we hope to be able to use Care Response for our acupuncture, massage and sports injury patients as well.

At 30 days Care Response also produces a brief patient satisfaction questionnaire, which  shows that we have achieved a 100% patient satisfaction rate with 91% being ‘very satisfied’. This is an improvement on our August 2013 figures when ‘only’ 87% had responded this way.

This does not mean that we have been able to help everyone who has walked through our doors, but it certainly indicates that everyone has received the care and the service they expected, at the very least. However, we will not rest on our laurels and we will keep trying to make our service and our care even better, so that you confidently can continue to recommend us to your friends, to your colleagues and to your family.
